Hydrobiologia is a peer-reviewed journal that investigates the biology of freshwater and marine environments, including the impact of human activities: Covers biological research in limnology and oceanography; Publishes research on molecular-, organism-, and ecosystem/community level studies, including systematics and aquatic ecology; Presents theoretical and experimental research; Encourages contributions that support and advance the UN’s sustainable development goal SDG14 (Life below water).
